Project: Jason Todd

An independent non-profit film that takes a deep dive into the mind of the DC comics character Jason and his time as Robin.

Most of the supporting roles will be needed anywhere from 1-5 days!

A Character Study of a broken, but good-hearted, young man whose parental figures and circumstances led him to respond to the twisted world of Gotham with the only thing he was ever taught, violence and aggression.
A tragedy. Hopefully, an honest one, about abuse, neglect, and a longing for love.
The size of our audience and the interest the world shares in these icons allows us to attempt to reach them with an emotionally vulnerable story that hopefully rings true to those of us who've had it rough, who've felt alone, and who, above all, just needed someone to love them.

Delta Golden’s life has been just that … golden. As an only child raised in an affluent neighborhood, Delta’s doting parents gave her everything wealth could offer. At 28 Delta thought she was well on her way to building her own empire as a social media influencer for a high-end boutique. Completely self-absorbed and having never been held accountable for anything, Delta developed an uncanny knack for being consistently late and just plain irresponsible. But on her 29th birthday, everything changes. Delta finds herself out of a job, out of her apartment, out of a car (those pesky parking tickets), and just downright out of luck. Then, her parents decide it's time to show Delta some tough love and cut her off so now she is also out of money. With all of her followers gone, and her “friends” nowhere to be found, Delta is desperate and takes a job at a homeless shelter just to have a roof over her head. She has all the wrong motives, but the more time she spends with her boss Ryan, and the residents of the shelter, the more her “job” becomes something she looks forward to, something she is actually committed to for once. She has found a purpose and for the first time in her life it’s not all about her. She is heartbroken when she overhears that the shelter is running out of money and in danger of closing. She makes it her mission to raise the funds needed, and in doing so she finally understands what it truly means to have “influence.”

Project: 2023 Season Pitches

Got a story idea? Great, we want to hear it.  Never been on stage before? No problem! We love working with first-time storytellers.

We produce live storytelling shows with 6-8 people telling true stories on a common theme at the finest venues in Washington, DC and the region.

Things to know:

  • Our stories are all true and told in first-person
  • Our stories are developed to be told, not read (no notes)
  • We provide support to each storyteller throughout the story preparation process
  • We prioritize authenticity and connecting to the audience
  • Our stories can be funny, serious, poignant, shocking, thought-provoking, silly, or all of the above at once.
  • No experience required, just an open mind and the willingness to put in some work
  • The only thing we do is autobiographical storytelling. Not stand-up or improv comedy. Not fiction. Not a speech, lecture, tribute, or sermon.

By "pitch" we mean that we want to get an idea of what the story is about: what happens, why it matters, what's at stake, and what changes. It does not need to be polished or finished.  We prefer a natural and conversational voice and style. Tell your story, don't read it. Be sure to tell the full arc. Avoid a cliffhanger or a riddle. We need to know how the story ends.

If you are selected to be in a cast, note that being in a show is a commitment of your time and energy. You are expected to attend rehearsals and be open to feedback from the director and coaches. Your story is likely to evolve during the coaching process and we'll help you prepare the best version of your story. You'll experience the reward of getting to know and support your other cast members, as well.

Project: The Chronicles of Molly Reins

"The Chronicles of Molly Reins" is an original screenplay being produced in a unique photographic format. Shoots are in the form of still photos (with subsequent professional voice overs) so there are no lines or scripts to memorize! These roles could be a great opportunity especially for new actors, or models considering making the transition to acting.

Currently casting for a 2 or 3 day shoot scheduled for March 2022.

Molly Reins is a young woman growing up decades after life on earth has undergone a catastrophic change. As she learns to survive in a perilous world, she discovers that a frightening encounter as a child has granted her a miraculous power. Molly soon finds that this gift brings with it great hope and even greater danger. A battle of good versus evil, waged both on the torn earth as well as the surreal landscape of her dreams, ultimately reveals the strength of the human spirit.

Project: Christian Sitcom

We are producing a Christian Sitcom --filming episodes 2-4 beginning July 28 in Cleveland, and September 3rd in Ft. Lauderdale and are looking for actors/extras for one-time and ongoing episodes.

A Quality Christian Sitcom?
Mocking God and His principles is the norm in every single sitcom.  With your help, that's about to change.

The author of a book which hit #2 on the Christian "Relationship" chart has written this sitcom to counter the culture while making people laugh.  Like the book, the fun, upbeat sitcom will take viewers on a roller coaster ride from "Mr. Right Now" all the way to "Mr. Right," without losing heart and without losing faith.

Author of six books is best known as the architect of the pro-life Heartbeat Bill (to protect every child whose heartbeat can be detected) which is now law in 14 states (and counting). She is not satisfied with the status quo and is known for changing it.

WHY?  Reaching the Lost & Discipling Nations.  While most non-Christians aren't drawn to sermons, everyone wants to laugh.  The sitcom "What's a Girl to Do?" will make people laugh while putting God and His truths in a positive light--finally.

Be a Pioneer & Help Pave the Way!  Your talent can help produce the first quality Christian Sitcom of its kind.  It features Robert Davi (The Goonies, Die Hard, The Expendables 3), Rusty Joiner (Dodgeball, Melrose Place, Voiceless), Chris Routhe (Chicago Fire, Empire, Chicago PD.), Matthew Moore (Homeless for the Holidays), George Kokkoris (Android Cop, Burn Notice), and many other accomplished actors.

There are lots of good Christian movies, but there are NO Christian sitcoms from which to choose.  Let's change that. Instead of entertainment with the indoctrination of a godless worldview, let's create a quality sitcom that honors God and advances His Kingdom...while having fun.
